Our client envisioned a space that could seamlessly blend multiple functionalities. The primary goal was to create a versatile area for both entertaining and exercising, all while retaining the practicality of a garden shed. During our initial consultation, the client expressed the need for an open space that could accommodate both furniture for entertaining and exercise equipment. Additionally, a significant storage area was required to house family bicycles, BBQ equipment, and general garden tools.

Delving into the design process, we envisioned a dual combination configuration to optimize the available space. The left side was designated for secure storage, featuring bespoke bike racks to maximize efficiency. The right side was conceptualized as an open-plan living space, complete with a built-in media wall and a mini fridge to enhance its functionality. Collaborating closely with the client, we refined the design to ensure it met every expectation and seamlessly integrated entertainment, exercise, and storage needs.

The construction phase unfolded over approximately five weeks, where we brought the dual combination concept to life. The left side's secure storage area was meticulously crafted, incorporating bespoke bike racks for efficient storage. Simultaneously, the right side's open-plan living space took shape, featuring a parquet floor with built-in LED lights. Our skilled craftsmen carefully installed Cedar cladding with a concaved angle effect on the left, complemented by a pagoda on the right, extending over an enlarged patio area. Bifold doors were seamlessly integrated to connect the interior with the garden, creating a fluid transition.

The finishing touches elevated the dual combination space to new heights. The parquet floor with integrated LED lights not only added a touch of elegance but also enhanced the room's usability. Exterior Cedar cladding with a concaved angle effect and a pagoda imparted a distinct architectural charm. The patio area, flush with the grass, offered a seamless transition to the outdoors. The result was a meticulously designed space that effortlessly balanced practicality with aesthetic appeal.
