Our client sought a versatile space that could serve as both a relaxing retreat and a home gym, with the added functionality of discreet storage. They envisioned a 18m² room that would blend style, comfort, and practicality, with modern touches to enhance its usability throughout the year. Alongside the space's aesthetic goals, the client wanted to ensure it could be comfortably used in all seasons.

During the design process, we collaborated to create a room that maximized both space and functionality. The 30° angled front added architectural flair, while full-length glass bi-fold doors on the front and side provided an abundance of natural light, creating a sense of openness ideal for both relaxing and exercising. We also incorporated a hidden storage area on the side, easily accessible from the outside, to keep gym equipment and garden tools organized without compromising the room’s modern, open design.

Over the course of five weeks, we brought the project to life with composite wood grain cladding, known for its durability and stylish finish. Aluminum bi-fold doors, equipped with full-glass panels, gave the room an airy, expansive feel while offering beautiful garden views. The 30° angled front not only added a unique design element but also created a sense of depth in the relatively compact space.

To ensure year-round comfort, we installed a 3000 kW paneled smart heater, allowing the client to control the room's temperature remotely. This high-efficiency heater perfectly matched the room's sleek, modern design while offering practical comfort during colder months. Grey wood-effect laminate flooring completed the space, adding a sophisticated, contemporary touch that seamlessly tied the room together. The hidden storage area maintained the room's clean lines, preserving both functionality and aesthetics.

The client was delighted with the final result, praising the seamless blend of form and function. The room’s bright, open feel, combined with the convenient storage solution and smart heating, made it the ideal year-round retreat for relaxation and fitness. The stylish finishes, paired with the innovative design elements, created a space that felt like a true extension of their home, perfectly balancing comfort, practicality, and modern elegance.
