Our client envisioned transforming their garden into the ultimate entertainment area—a space large enough to host gatherings of family and friends, yet functional for everyday use throughout the year. With a pool table already on order, they sought a design that could accommodate various entertainment options while maximizing functionality.

During the design phase, we explored various options to meet the client's requirements. After listing all potential uses for the room, we concluded that spanning the full length of the garden would provide ample space for the pool table, bar, and entertaining area. This design also allowed for the incorporation of a discreet storage room on the side, seamlessly hiding away garden essentials.

The construction phase spanned approximately six weeks, reflecting the complexity of the project. In addition to crafting the garden room itself, we hand-built the bar area with dedicated storage for glasses and other bar essentials. The exterior was finished in cedar cladding, with large UPVC doors and floor-to-ceiling windows strategically placed to flood the room with natural light.

Inside, the room was adorned with laminate flooring throughout, providing both durability and sophistication. A smart lighting system was installed to set the perfect ambiance for any occasion, while air conditioning ensured optimal comfort year-round. The room seamlessly opened onto a small composite deck, extending the entertainment area into the garden.

To complement the garden room's elegance, we collaborated with Planet Turf to enhance the surrounding landscape. They laid a hard-wearing artificial lawn and patio slabs, creating a cohesive transition from the entertainment oasis to the outdoor space.
